About José "Joe" Rodriguez

José  "Joe" Rodriguez was born December 18, 1974 in Cayey, Puerto Rico.  After pitching at Florida International University he broke into the big leagues with the St. Louis Cardinals on May 18, 2000. He also pitched for the Minnesota Twins and the Newark Bears of the Atlantic League. 

Currently, Joe works as a baseball scout and is owner of the Get A Chance Baseball experience. He is a seasoned scout, with expertise in the world of talent evaluation. With an eye for potential and a deep understanding of the game's intricacies, Joe travels throughout North, Middle, and South America looking for baseball players with potential. Each year 20-23 talented players travel to Joe's 50-day College Experience where they are trained, evaluated, and given an insiders view of college and professional baseball.
